Uniqueness of the Graduate School of Computer and Engineering Management
lies in the curriculum, which offers the right blend of theoretical
and practical knowledge for those who seek nothing but excellence
in management. The MS(CEM) curriculum, a one-of-a-kind graduate
study program in Thailand, underlines the importance of the following
disciplines:
Computer.
Computer literacy represents an invaluable asset to any organizations.
The competitiveness depends largely on the ability to harness computer
technologies to the best advantage. Appropriate computer knowledge
and the ability to apply it help assure an organization to stay
technologically abreast of the competition.
Engineering.Both
public and private organizations, involved with technocal as well
as non-technocal products or services, may have to resort to engineering
know-how to different degrees. Technical enterprises may deal, to
a great extent, with the research, development, and application
of engineering knowledge. It is thus indispensable for organizations
to be well equipped with engineering resources to tackle any technical
problems.
Management.
A poorly managed organization has an infinitesimal chance to become
successful. Enterprises, though blessed with excellent computer
and engineering resources, are doomed to fail should their resources
are ineffectively or inefficiently utilized. Hence, effective management
can lead organizations to the forefront of the business arena.
Realizing the necessity
of the afore mentioned bodies of knoledge, the MS(CEM) program strives
to cater our students with well-rounded knowledge and experience
on all three important areas. The multidisciplinary capabilities
will empower them to solve numerous aspects of management issues
faced in organzations.
